In a newly posted video on its website, the RNC is again quoting Jack Murtha out of context.

Last month in Florida, Congressman Murtha cited a Pew Research poll of various nations worldwide that concluded the United States was the leading threat to world peace today. That was the poll,s findings and not Murtha,s opinion. A Florida newspaper reported it wrong and attributed the statement to Murtha, not the poll. THE NEXT DAY THE PAPER RETRACTED THE STORY AND PRINTED A CORRECTION GETTING IT RIGHT.

The RNC continues to attribute the mistaken statement to the Congressman. In a recent video on its website, the RNC left the correct version on the cutting room floor and used a doctored version misquoting Murtha. It,s just another example of how desperate the Republicans are to confuse the American public on the war and where the Democrats stand.
